My name is Brandon, and I’m a personal blogger. I started blogging sometime in July of 2004, about 13-14 years ago. I’m in my late 20’s and I live in the southeast of the United States. I’m an Agnostic Theist, a model car collector, and I have an addiction to watching car crash videos on Youtube. During my time off from work, I like to spend time either playing video games on the Playstation 4 with my co-workers, or spending time with my girlfriend.
My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost two years, and we rent an apartment together. Like everyone else, I’ve had my fair share of struggles: my parents got divorced when I was 8, I was kicked out of the house at age 13, I’ve gotten my heart broken at age 23, my dad died when I was 26, etc. My life has been fairly decent. I’ve been raised in a middle-class family. I graduated high school with a 3.0 GPA, and acquired a two-year degree in communications through a community college. I’m not the most intelligent man in the world, nor am I the sexiest, but I sure as hell ain’t the dumbest, and I still look pretty damn good.
The first car I ever owned was a 1985 Firebird Trans-AM. I acquired the vehicle when I graduated high school; my mom gave it to me as a high school graduation present. I owned the car for a couple of years until the transmission went out, and I sold the car for 900 dollars on Craigslist (a decision I still regret to this day). Prior to getting rid of the Firebird, I vowed for my next car to be a Honda Civic. For some reason, I love Honda Civics; I always wanted to own one because I consider them to be reliable vehicles to own. As an old friend used to call them, who I last heard was a car mechanic (and a dream to own a Nissan Skyline), “they’re indestructible.” Sometime during 2003-2004, I purchased a 2001 Honda Civic from a used car dealership. From then, I graduated to a 2012 Honda Civic, to a now 2015 Honda Civic SI.
I’ve lived a pretty normal life, and I don’t expect that to change. I’m a great guy to get along with, and I try to help people out every once in a while (whether it’s a larger tip, personal advice, etc etc). I’m BY NO MEANS a saint, I have my flaws, but I’ve lived a good life and generally have stayed out of trouble.
If you’re just passing by and don’t really care about who I am, I don’t blame you. But hey, while you’re here…you can call me Brandon. If you ever forget my name, just call me that guy with the SI.
I’m okay with either.
